catch up

I have a few things to share...
Here is my card for Twisted Sketches Card Sketch #012.
The twist was ruffle. I ruffled up some Cosmo Cricket
chalkboard alphabetpaper, and blinged up a little apple
for this sweet teacher card.
See the sketch HERE.
Next up is my layout for Mission to Create #0019.
Nikki Sivils is our June sponser and she sent the design team
some of her patterned paper to work with.
Check out the concepts HERE.

The Mission to Create card team also worked with
the same concepts,
and yes I am part of the card team...
and I did make a card...
but I forgot to take a photo of it before it left my hand.
oops!
No worries, the cards posted HERE are fabulous!
It is very challenging to include all 5 concepts on one itty bitty piece of art, but that is the fun part!
Want to play along and win your very own pack of
Nikki Sivils paper?
You have until July 7th to complete Mission #0018 or #0019.
Layout or card, or both for more chances to win!
I need to get my hands on some of these:)

Twisted Card #010

sketch + yellow =

my card for Twisted Card Sketch #010.

I had a hard time with this sketch. I do not play well with large circles. lol

I like how it turned out...very different from something I would have came up with on my own.

Check out the sketch here and also what the other gals did.

I especially love Brenda's card!!

I made this card for a sketch challenge on the

I adore it!! I love making little scenes. I was kind of stuck with the sketch at first...I knew I wanted to use the
paper doll pp, but nothing really came together
until Nicole suggested cutting them out.

Then it was all good :) Thanks Nicole!

Twisted Card #008

I really, really like my twisted card for sketch #008 found HERE :)
The twist was ALPHA.
I used some super old KI Memories shimmery alpha paper.
I have a good local source for older paper that you will never find anywhere else.
A lot of it is back in style.
And I have no shame in saying that I like to be in style!!
I picked up a whole bunch of sheets that I would have never
thought of using last year. lol
Now please go make a card for your child's teacher
or Early Childhood Educator.
I would much rather receive a card with some sweet words than a gift.
(Okay, I like gifts too...but cards make me cry)
grrrrr....I seriously can not figure out spacing on these blog posts!!
What am I doing wrong...I looks fabulous until I hit publish.
help.

5 concepts on one card?

Can you do it?
I did :)
even the interview style journalling which I thought
would be the most difficult.
Here are concepts for Mission Create 0016:
Deborah - interview style journalling
Jocelyn - I wanna see STARS!!
Nicole - use at least 6 different pattern papers
Vanessa - Acrylic Embellishments
Sharmaine - Use a template or stencil
If you can do it all, or at least 3
link us up HERE to be entered to win a prize from our May sponser.
Be sure to check out Jessy's card while you are there :)
Do you want to join Jessy and I?
We are still looking for some card designers to add to our team. Details HERE.
