highlights

some happy highlights from the past week...
-scrapping with the girls (sooooooooooo good for the soul)
-brunch with the same girls + a few more awesome ladies + 2 cute babies
-fabulous meal at fresh cafe
-first pool day for the dogs (Cleo opted out and sunbathed instead)
-ice cream sundaes mmmmmmmmmmmm

This has taken up my scrappy time for the last few weeks. My friend asked me to make this album for her hubby for Father's Day. I can't share the inside, but really, it looks sooooooo good!!! I'm happy with how it all came together. I hope they love it.

it was a gigglefest

Went to visit Eva and Noah yesterday at my moms. It's been a lonnnnnnnng time so I took 74 photos!! Eva was so giggly, while Noah was quiet and content drawing monsters. Here are a few of my favourites.

new faves

First, my new favourite layout. I have been saving this Sass paper for something good. I finally decided to use it with my fave pic of Josko, my fave new Jillibean alphas, and my fave new FP journalling pages.

Second, my newest favourite card. I bought a big woodgrain stamp (looooooooooove!!!) and used it on cork, my new fave thing to stamp on. I don't think I'm giving this card away. Wish I could have have my favourite meal and dessert tonight, but no such luck.

white rice

Do you ever crave plain white rice after you watch Survivor? I do. I ate a big bowl after Sunday's finale. lol.

card*a*licious

I made this card for the card*a*licious challenge #20. Had to use blue, green, and circles on a birthday card. I used some older Sassafras flower paper that I have been hoarding. This is the first line of Sassafras that caught my attention and started a somewhat unhealthy obsession. TFL!

Birds Hill Park

We took the dogs to Birds Hill Park today. They had so much fun!! Josko has never been to the 'woods' before. I think he was overwhelmed by all of the new smells. We let them go off leash in the giant clearing. Usually this is where we would see a lot of deer, but they must of heard us coming. Here are some photos. Love the one of Josko mid-run with crazy ears. And really, could Cleo be any happier?

poor neglected stamps

I have a little collection of stamps that has been growing a lot lately. And I hardly ever use them. I have had the Trim Trimmery Sassafras stamps for the longest time and haven't even used them once. Until yesterday!!

One of my favourite looks is embossed white on kraft, so I decided to give it a go. I love how this card turned out. The flowers are Sass Paper Whimsies.

As for my other stamps...they will get their turn. I decided I must use a stamped image on every project for the next little while. That way I can justify buying another set of stamps today :)

October Afternoon Cards

I made these cards using a varity of OA papers. OA is definately one of my favourite paper manufacturers right now. The lines coordinate so well with each other and I seem to use up every last scrap on cards. My faves out of this bunch are the monster and the ladybug ones!

My mom is getting this one for Mother's Day!

Page Maps 'What's on My Mind's Eye' Contest

I used this Page Maps sketch to create a layout about my niece Eva. She has been on my mind constantly as it has been so long since I last saw her. She got her ears pierced when she was just 2 months old and already had 2 pairs of gold and diamond earrings!! I love how adorable she looks with her baby bling.

I love our new Jeep!!!

Love, love, love it!!! So does Joe. It has changed things so much already for us. I'm most looking forward to going camping with our little family. Can you even imagine Josko swimming in the lake?? I thing we need to buy a video camera 'cause I'm sure it will be YouTube worthy!!
